This course will provide employers with the tools to develop a strategy for optimizing a plant layout to minimize waste of motion, reduce cycle times, identify bottlenecks and improve overall productivity. This course provides essential learning for those who are adding new equipment or capacity, rearranging for better material flow and throughput, expanding or consolidating facilities, implementing work cells and lean manufacturing. The goal with this training is to create additional space using the layout process to establish and identify opportunities to maximize flow and space. Trainees will be taught how to use the P, Q, R, S, T approach which shows how to optimize the process. Delivered onsite for all members of the company.
