Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles improves the Value Stream, which is the actual manufacturing process, by exposing significant areas of waste. Learning how to Identify and eliminate wastes (problems) which inhibit the smooth, efficient flow of value-added activities becomes crucial in the Lean Implementation Process. Team Involvement Problem Solving teaches a structured, team based, root cause oriented problem-solving process that supports the elimination of process problems that impede process flow. Students will learn how to be part of a team, understand and use techniques for creating ideas. Students will learn how to address measures of success relating to productivity and sales.
