This program explores the complexities of the front-line supervisory role and the skills required to succeed as a member of management. Discussions center around the expectations placed on the supervisor by the company, staff and peers. Participants are shown the expanded skill set required to succeed – which includes the technical aspects, human relations, conceptual thinking and decision-making skills. This course is offered in-person or virtually for new supervisors. The class is structured as a lecture with interactive discussions and activities throughout.
