Description:
Prepare for the MA State Board exam to become certified along with certifications in HHA, CPR, and Hand in Hand Dementia Training. Clinical experience is held in a local nursing facility with Registered Nurse instructors. Skills taught include vital signs, moving and turning pts., personal care basics, bed-making, bed-bathing and feeding, record keeping and emergency response. MA requires Nurse Assistants to be certified. Students must be 16 years of age in order to sit for certification. CORI check required. Covid vaccination is required by most medical facilities.
