A six week course 210 hours in four major welding processes. 1 Gas Metal Arc Welding both Mig and Pulse arc 2 Flux Core Arc Welding 3 Shielded Metal Arc Welding 4 Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, TIG welding starts with thin gauge metal and into to alloy welding as well as pipe in 6G position.All processes are taught in vertical and overhead positions preparing students for AWS certification.Special emphasis dedicated to additional welding related subjects such Distortion Control using Jigs and fixtures with an understanding of welding techniques . Intro to Metalurgy targeting the Heat Affected Zone of weldments. Additional training includes Weld Symbols, Oxy/Fuel cutting torch, Carbon Arc Gouging and non-destructive testing methods.
