In this training, during a series of hands-on simulations students will learn the principals of lean manufacturing, standardized work, workplace organization, visual controls, set-up reduction, batch size reduction, point of use storage, quality at the source, workforce practices, and pull systems to eliminate waste and how to apply them to a company. Students will be able to understand the eight wastes in manufacturing and how to eliminate them. Students begin manufacturing clocks in a chaotic, traditional job shop manufacturing environment. Then, lean principles are applied in a series of simulations. Delivered onsite for all levels.
