On campus or online. Combined Phlebotomy and EKG program provides skills to function as a vital member of a healthcare services team. Learn aspects related to blood collection and comprehensive skills to perform venipunctures completely and safely. Includes the function and proper use of EKG machine, Holter monitor, normal anatomy of the chest wall for proper lead placement, echocardiography, 12-lead placement and clinical practices. Includes optional 40 hr. Phlebotomy clinical rotation as part of the program. At program conclusion, you are eligible to sit for the National Workforce Career Association CPT and CEKG exams. Sec 30 only applies to the online, self-paced option.The online training options allows 4 months to complete. |
