Description:

In this five-day course participants will learn methods of air sampling, microscope setup, filter mounting, and fiber counting. Algebra and statistics are used in the evaluative and analytical processes taught. Accurate determination of the quantity of asbestos in the air is critical to the health of exposed workers and the public. The preferred minimum background for the course is an Associate's Degree in a scientific field. |
