Description:
|
The lean concept of POUS identifies and eliminates intermediate steps currently in the process so that the raw material moves from the receiving dock to the work center where it is used. It eliminates waste and reduces damage. Roadblocks are identified through the process and reduced or eliminated. The students will learn a five-step technique which provides the how-to for a manufacturer to clean up the typically disorganized work area and ensures the success of lean manufacturing on the shop floor. The training will have taught students’ material handling, inventory management, storage, and material tracking to eliminate waste and reduce damage. Geared for all levels of the company delivered onsite over 3 days. |
