Prints are manufacturing instructions and generally contain a drawing, dimensions, and notes. Blueprint reading is the universal form of communication, allowing the engineering and manufacturing departments to communicate all information required to manufacture a product. This course helps students develop the knowledge and skills to read engineering prints through a combination of lecture/discussion, individual and group work sessions, and large print review. It is appropriate for machine operators, quality control inspectors, NC programmers, shop supervisors, metal-working manufacturing personnel, engineers, engineering managers, and other manufacturing professionals. Training is available on-site at your organization.
