This course is designed to introduce the concepts of Standard Work. This Lean tool is used in Flow Production to assure maximum performance with minimum waste through the best combination of Operators, Machines, Material, Information and Sequence. This approach forms the baseline from which all continuous improvement work is derived. Through in person or virtual lecture students will learn a) Batch versus Flow production b) the concepts of Cellular manufacturing c) the concepts of Standard Work d) the elements of Standard Work and e) Standard Work documentation. The ideal audience for this course is senior managers, middle managers, experienced and entry level personnel.
