This course is designed to introduce the concepts of Material Pull Systems. This Lean tool is used to control the flow of material through the Value Stream by only replenishing what has already been consumed. This eliminates overproduction, increases inventory turns and cash flow, while reducing inventory value and stock-outs. Through in person or virtual lecture students will learn about a) Push vs. Pull b) Kanban c) Supermarkets d) Level loading and e) Pull metrics. The ideal audience for this course is senior managers, middle managers, experienced and entry level personnel.
