This is a 100 hours nail program that teaches the student everything necessary and required by the state of MA to obtain a manicurist license. The rules of the Massachusetts Board of Cosmetology and Barbering states that you must have the proper education before advertising yourself as a nail technician in MA. In order to become licensed as a Manicurist-Type 3, you must be at least 17 years old, have completed 10th grade at minimum, and complete the course of at least 100 hours of manicuring training. The course is offered in English or Spanish.
