This 2-day training teaches participants about cost-saving and efficient manufacturing processes such as Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Value Engineering (VE). Participants will learn how DFM leads to finding the most cost-effective manufacturing processes that meet the customer's specifications and utilizing the 3 F's (Form, Fit, and Function). Participants will learn how the DFA methodology can be used to develop the most cost-effective and productive way to design products for assembly. This training teaches participants about VE and how it minimizes costs while maintaining functionality. Offered virtual or onsite. Geared towards engineering personnel. |
