This workshop presents several methods and tools to identify, quantify, analyze and solve problems in the workplace. The class is designed to give students hands-on experience with a variety of tools and problem-solving methods that can positively impact quality, cost, and lead-time. Attendees will learn why problem identification and problem-solving are key skills necessary in a continuous improvement environment. They will also be exposed to several different and proven techniques for uncovering and working through problems that affect day-to-day productivity. The course shows how problem-solving methods and tools can be used to decrease errors, increase capacity, and reduce costs.
