In order to protect the confidentiality of controlled unclassified information, The National Institute of Standards and Technology has released NIST-SP-800-171, a publication that provides guidance on information security requirements that organizations in the Department of Defense supply chain must meet in order to maintain DoD revenue streams. Through lecture and classroom exercises this course prepares participants to identify gaps, and develop and implement a sound, proactive cybersecurity policy that brings their organizations into compliance with 800-171 requirements. Training is appropriate for IT personnel or anyone who will be responsible for cybersecurity compliance. It is available on-site at your organization.
