This course combines general workplace English with critical communication skills for life in the U.S. Employees improve their spoken and written grammar and vocabulary through contextualized activities, readings, projects and discussions. Each class level focuses on critical skills, which increase in complexity & utility. Lower level courses focus on literacy skills, such as accurately filling out forms and completing work tasks while upper levels focus on managerial skills such as speaking in a meeting or giving a direct report comprehensive feedback.
