Students learn the history and principals of lean manufacturing including standard work, 5S & visual management, set-up reduction, point of use storage, and the 8 Wastes of Lean. During a series of hands-on simulations students apply lean concepts such as standard work, kanban, one-piece flow systems and more. This course is for supervisors, managers, engineers and anyone interested in the basics of Lean methodology. Course is delivered in person at client site.
