ESOL Levels 4 -5 intermediate, 6+ advanced: These classes are for adults who assess into Levels 4-5 or 6 and above. Students will improve English language skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. ESOL will be taught in the context of career readiness to strengthen comm. in the workplace. Computer Basics: Overview of computers as an effective tool for work or personal use. Topics- Windows operating system, file mgmt, security, word processing basics, the World Wide Web and its resources including email, web browsers, and search engines. Computer Apps: Computer for work or personal use. Intro to application software for presentation graphics, electronic spreadsheet, and database mgmt software. Students will use MS Office. |
