This course is for students interested in BIM. It can be held in person, or remotely. This 1-day course will start with an overview of the different types of lighting analysis in Insight and Revit. We will review the key considerations regarding modeling and materials in Revit, including project location and orientation, materials, openings, floors. Next, we will go over the lighting settings and steps for starting analysis. Finally, we will go over showing the results in multiple formats. We will also introduce solar analysis to study heat gain and PV potential.
