Resilience is a complicated topic spanning physical assets, operational functions and the psychological needs of occupants and community. Clients can be resistant to engage around any of these topics. Also, building design alone has a host of issues that trigger concerns about cost and operation. This workshop combines critical aspects to overcome the inherent challenges; the best ways to frame issues of analysis, design and construction and communication strategies that will most likely get buy-in and engage clients productively. This course can be held virtually or in-person and is a combination of presentation and discussion. It is recommended that participants complete the Communication Skills for Persuasion and Influence course first.
