Description:

Giving clear directions, practicing active listening skills and using non-defensive communication techniques improves leadership effectiveness. Through group discussions and use of real-life situations, participants will practice communication strategies and when to use them effectively. This interactive instructor-led virtual or in-person program will demonstrate how to effectively apply four core communication skills: Speak in Specifics, Ask for Input, Listen and Respond, and Use Reinforcement Techniques. Participants will also create an action plan to apply skills back on the job. This course is ideal for front-line supervisors, managers and professionals in any industry. |
