This short course covers strategies for effective/professional email communication. Email practices ensure productivity gain/drain providing information, requests, & direction. Topics include anatomy of an email, subject lines, appropriate salutations/closings, signature lines, fonts, reply all technique, bcc: use, appropriate length, attachments, and clarity of writing and purpose. Also, forwarding, security, recall strategies. The course is applicable to those, especially in HR, ensuring communication is appropriate and efficient for work environments. No pre-requisites. The course is offered virtually. Courses are instructor led with students encouraged to bring practical workplace situations to class as learning opportunities.
