Designed for new and entry-level SolidWorks users, this course covers the fundamentals of SolidWorks and teaches you how to use SolidWorks to build parametric models of parts and assemblies and how to make simple drawings of those parts and assemblies. Topics include SolidWorks Basics, User Interface, Sketching, Basic Part Modeling, Symmetry and Draft, Patterning, Revolved Features, Shelling and Ribs, Editing Repairs and Design Changes, Configurations, Global Variables and Equations, Using Drawings and Assemblies and Bottom-Up Assembly Modeling. Upon completion, students will be prepared to take the Certified SolidWorks Associate CSWA exam. Class is 35 hours total, either 5 days in-classroom or 8 half-days of instructor-led online training.
