Designed for SolidWorks users, this course teaches you how to utilize the assembly modeling capabilities of SolidWorks mechanical design automation software. Topics include Advanced Mate Techniques, Top-Down Assembly Modeling, Assembly Features and Smart Components, Assembly Editing, Using Configurations with Assemblies, Display States and Appearances, Large Assemblies, Facility Layout, and Using SOLIDWORKS Treehouse.
Prerequisites for this course include mechanical design experience and CAD110 SolidWorks Essentials.
Class is 21 hours total, either 3 days in-classroom or 6 days of 2.5-hour sessions online plus 6 hrs of exercises.
