This course teaches the advantages of a team-based approach and how to be a good team member, including the practical rules of teamwork and their application. It also teaches the team development stages that can be expected as teams evolve. Participants learn the importance of communication to define and meet the work requirements of internal suppliers and internal customers and where to establish control points in order to achieve performance results. This course, targeted to hourly workers, will be taught in person in a mix of class lecture, group discussion and hands-on activities and exercises.
