Lean Manufacturing focuses on eliminating WASTE. While employees receive training in the identification of waste in the workplace and discuss ways to reduce or eliminate it, they may not have the means of moving forward. A key to establishing a Continuous Improvement environment is management involvement and support. The course provides a real-world view of what works and what doesn’t. It teaches an effective way of introducing rapid change into an organization by utilizing the ideas and motivation of the team. This course, targeted to supervisors and managers, will be taught in person in a mix of class lecture, group discussion and hands-on activities and exercises.
