This course addresses the major principles and the functions associated with inventory planning and control. Major topics include: Aggregate and ABC Inventory Analysis; Measuring Inventory Performance; Inventory Reporting, Classification and Valuation; Inventory and Production Scheduling; Physical Control of Inventory; Cost Consideration; and Visual Management concepts. This course, targeted to employees involved with supply chain or inventory planning and management, will be taught in person in a mix of class lecture, group discussion and hands-on activities and exercises.
