The tolerance of workplace harassment has been drastically changing in recent years. Behaviors that used to be commonplace and “accepted” are rightfully no longer tolerated. Companies must be proactive in preventing or quickly and effectively responding to claims of harassment. This course teaches the management responsibilities for prevention, for awareness, and for action if harassment occurs. It includes methods by which employees and companies can protect themselves employees from harassment. This course, targeted to supervisors and managers, will be taught in person in a mix of class lecture, group discussion and hands-on activities and exercises.
