Workplace violence has many causes. Most of the time there are warning signs if you know what to look for. The two major aspects of workplace violence that Companies are most interested in are “How do we prevent it?” and “How do we respond to it if it does occur?”. This course provides an understanding of what workplace violence is and how to identify some of its warning signs. It provides both an individual and organizational approach to managing anger, and preventing and responding to violence. This course, targeted to all employees, will be taught in person in a mix of class lecture, group discussion and hands-on activities and exercises.
