In this course, participants will be introduced to Business Writing. They will work on writing organization, vocabulary usage, and technical aspects, such as spelling, punctuation, capitalization, formatting conventions, and grammar. The participants will learn through in-person lectures and in-class activities. Taking this course will allow the participants to develop confidence in their written communication skills, including emails and reports, identify their unique areas of weakness in writing and practice overcoming typical writing errors, and learn strategies and skills to evaluate and correct their own writing and assist peers with theirs. The ideal audience for this course is admin staff, managers, and interested professionals.
