In this course, participants will learn basic English language skills; increased vocabulary, speaking, listening comprehension, and pronunciation. The focus will be workplace English. Topics will include workplace safety, following directions, asking for clarification, and speaking with coworkers and supervisors. Content will be relevant to the workplace and everyday life. This class is designed for Beginners with very limited ability in English. Class will be delivered remotely via Zoom, with additional activities via WhatsApp. Participants can use a smart phone or computer to access this class. This class can also be offered onsite at the employer if within a distance able to be staffed by JVS.
