In this course, participants will develop Intermediate level English language skills in speaking, listening comprehension, and pronunciation. Course content will be focused on workplace communication and include workplace safety, following directions, reporting a problem, asking for clarification, and communicating with co-workers and supervisor. The ideal participant has some basic language skills, but needs to increase vocabulary, comprehension, and clarity when speaking. Class will be delivered remotely via Zoom, with additional activities via WhatsApp. Participants can use a smart phone or computer to access this class. Class can also be delivered at employer if within a distance that JVS is able to staff.
