Recognizing that bias exists, around us and within us, is critical as we continue the journey of creating inclusive and equitable spaces. As we work towards noticing it in ourselves and others, understanding exactly what it is and where it comes from helps us to understand its impact and to create a culture of holding ourselves and each other accountable. In this dialogic and interactive session we will define these concepts, as well as introduce best practices for noticing and naming bias in our environments in order to foster learning and growth along our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion journey. Come prepared to engage in good discussion with your colleagues! (This course can be offered in person and virtually.)
