In this course, students will learn the basics of building a financial budget and forecast system using electronic spreadsheets, increase their understanding of functions and formulas, learn how to use data validation tools, and develop greater self-confidence in creating spreadsheet templates. The students will learn through virtual lectures; classroom assignments include manipulating a budget template and practicing the use of functions and formulas. Taking this course will improve student’s ability to create and modify budgeting and forecasting systems to meet their changing business needs. The ideal audience for this course are financial analysts, business managers, department heads, business owners, and interested professionals.
