Description:

This in person course will provide an overview of grammar, listening and speaking as well as reading and writing. Participants will gain knowledge of the basic structure of the English language, rudimentary listening comprehension skills, proper pronunciation, and listening for main ideas, factual information and retelling conversations. Participants will engage in a variety of Reading/Writing activities that focus on the development of identifying main ideas, scanning, skimming, organizing facts and making inferences. Taking this course will enhance an employee’s knowledge/skills of the English language and allow them to communicate more efficiently at work. The ideal audience for this course is entry level to senior technicians. |
