Description:

This is the basic course for EMT/ambulance that follows the guidelines outlined by the US Dept of Health Education & Welfare in conjunction with the Natl Traffic Safety Administration & the Dept of Transportation. This course is an on-line lecture, discussion, with hands-on demonstration & practical application of the knowledge & skill necessary to care for individuals who have life-threatening emergencies & injuries. This course, completed during work-hours, satisfies the requirements for the psychomotor exam required by the Mass Office of Emergency Medicine & the written exam administered by National Registry of EMT as an EMT-Basic. Note: Students must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and submit verification. |
