In this monthly series of instructor-led, 1-hour virtual meetings, participants discuss examples of leadership as portrayed in best-selling leadership biographies and autobiographies. Readings include “Shoe Dog” by Phil Knight (founder of Nike), “That Will Never Work” by Mark Rudolph (founder of Netflix), and “Delivering Happiness” by Tony Hsieh (founder of Zappos). Discussions focus on the positive and challenging experiences of these real-life leaders and the lessons participants can apply to their own leadership journey. While primarily intended for current and prospective leaders, the issues discussed throughout this series are applicable to employees and associates at all levels within an organization, and throughout most industries. |
