In this course intended for building industry professionals, participants will learn how to apply Lean thinking and business improvement processes to the AEC industry to make workflow more efficient. This includes learning how to set up successful process improvement projects; conduct root cause analysis within and across areas or teams; solve problems using Lean techniques; make informed decisions around trade-offs on cost and benefit; implement feasible and sustainable solutions; and more. This is a highly interactive and practical course where participants will learn the lean methods and then will work with others in the session to improve the processes that they have at work. The course can be held virtually or in-person.
