Participants will learn what factors influence the asset-liability management process and how to use that information to make decisions in ALCO meetings. We will review the regulatory environment related to ALCO issues, liquidity, interest rate risk, and examiner concerns with credit risk arising from the pandemic. The primary focus of ALCOs in 2022 will likely remain focused on liquidity management. We will explore four options, investments, loans, and reducing wholesale funding and retail deposits. This live in-person course will increase an employee's ability to understand and analyze critical data in a bank's ALCO meetings.
