During this four-hour, instructor-led program, participants learn about meaningful behaviors and practices that create inclusive environments. DEI in Action is designed for engineers and other technical professionals and their teams; it includes experiential activities, writing prompts, and discussions that focus on understanding Unconscious Bias, blocks to inclusion and belonging, and learning how to make an impacts both within organizations and in the community. Participants will discuss optimal hiring, onboarding and mentoring practices, that support a robust DEI environment, particularly in the fields of architecture, engineering, and construction.
Training can be delivered in-person (4 hrs) or as virtual sessions (2 hours/session).
