In this course intended for building industry professionals, topics covered include Passive House principles of high-performance windows, the effect of windows on comfort, the history of fenestration, and the characteristics of Passive House windows. You will learn how to design and install high-performance windows for Passive House buildings, review window calculations for a Passive House building, calculate the relationship between windows and thermal bridges, and check energy balances. This is a specialty course within The Passive House Network’s educational offerings that consists of 4 courses that can be taken individually or as a bundled course.
