Climate change and the impacts of severe weather events are highlighting the urgency for design firms to align their practice with the delivery of resilient buildings. This course is for employees of firms that are signatories of the AIA 2030 Commitment and are “stuck”, or of firms that want to become signatories and don't know where to start. Drawing from years of experience, this workshop shares lessons learned and resources to help you succeed. Participants will learn about actions to take to raise the bar within 6 months, including ways to institutionalize continuous improvement and strategies to leverage success for business development. The course can be held virtually or in-person and is a combination of presentation and discussion.
