This technical training requires 150 hours in the following topic areas: shop math, blueprint reading, quality assurance, safety, workplace readiness, CNC mill & lathe operations and GCode. This course is instructor led, in-person and can take place at the BV Hub or your workplace. This course is ideal to train new employees for new manufacturing roles in the company, cross training or upskilling current employees. Course will be taught by lecture and group discussion, presentations, hands-on lab training in the machine shop and online curriculum. Students will complete assessments of topics listed above as well as project designed and made on the mill or lathe.
