In this course, participants will learn about Knife skills that are essential for success in any kitchen environment. The participants will be guided by a professional chef who will lead them through hands-on activities and step by step instructions. Taking this course will improve the participants’ ability to safely and confidently use an assortment of knifes, learn a variety of knife cuts and practice how to perform them. Participants will learn how to properly hold a knife, understand which knives to use when, sharpen their sharpening skills and properly take care of their knives. The ideal audience for this course is back-of-the-house staff, restaurant managers, and interested professionals.
