In this course, participants will learn how to identify premium cuts of meat, understand how to temper and prepare them for cooking, and learn about the advantages of cooking steaks on the grill and in a pan. The participants will be guided by a professional chef who will lead them through hands-on activities and step by step instructions. Taking this course will improve the participants’ ability to identify premium cuts of beef, they will learn how to prepare steaks for cooking, learn the correct techniques for cooking premium steaks, and understand how to check for desired doneness in cooked meat.
