Students will be trained to repair small out board and in board marine engines as well as diagnose and repair water vessel systems. Students will attend online, and face to face three days a week, via online learning system and on site at BBW. They will have a face to face class for hands on instruction, several in class sessions with instructor led materials and several sessions with self- paced online materials in Mercury University. There will be lecture, group discussion and project based learning focused on problem solving and engine diagnostics. Student outcomes will be a full understanding of diesel systems and on- board corollary systems. Topics include: diesel engines, onboard electrical, mechanical and digital systems.
