The focus of this course is on the fundamental skills and concepts central to the successful use of SolidWorks PDM Professional, including maintaining users, security, workflow and attribute configuration. The intended audience for this course is anyone who will setup and/or administer SolidWorks PDM Professional.
Topics include PDM Pro User training, Installation Planning, The Administration Tool, Users and Groups, Folder Card Creation, File and Search Cards, Column and Bill of Materials Views, Workflow, Notifications and Tasks, Folder Templates, File templates, Data Migration, and Vault Backup.
Class is 21 hours total, either 3 days in-classroom or 5 days of three hour sessions online plus 6 hrs of exercises.
