The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are a set of U.S. government regulations administered by the U.S. Department of State's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC). ITAR compliance is critical for companies that manufacture, export, or broker defense articles or services. This workshop includes an overview of key components of international trade, as well as training on specific applications of U.S. export regulations, ITAR, EAR, and OFAC rules. Through a combination of lectures and hands-on activities participants learn to navigate these laws, rules, and regulations to ensure ITAR compliance. Training is designed for in-house compliance personnel and other key employees. It is available in-person or virtually.
