Students learn how to figure out who their core customer is in a new market. We will learn how to explore assumptions about the target customer, what key problems they are trying to solve and what the offer should be to meet those needs. Participants will work together to prepare a hypothesis statement that will highlight the target customer description, what they are trying to accomplish, how they are struggling to solve it today and what key social, emotional and functional needs are to be met . The method of instruction is often in-person but can be done remotely. The pedagogical practice is primarily class instruction and group discussions. Slides or drawn pictures can also be used. The audience is senior leadership team members.
